Great location with amazing views, and peaceful setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and would recommend to anyone looking to get away from it all. The cottage has everything you need, comfortable bed, good bathroom and kitchen. great place for a couple or family. Loved the kangaroos on the property who would shyly visit.

The locks on the two gates, having to get out and lock behind were a bit of a pain, but understandable in a farm property.

The place is beautiful. Great scenery, many roos. Quiet place in the hills close to Bullsbrook.

The house is relatively small, so the kitchen, master bedroom, and living area are all in one room. While it is beautiful, many things do not seem well thought out. For example, there are no blinds on one side of the room, so it is impossible to darken the room enough to sleep. There are high edges all around that can easily break your toes, such as the bathroom doorstep and the area around the fireplace, which you have to pass through to get to the bathroom. There are also CCTV cameras with audio recording all over the premises, one overlooking the porch. Security first, for sure, but this was really awkward and intrusive. Before our stay, the host required us to fill out some extra documents, such as a rental agreement, pre-arrival form, and send a passport scan. Never had this before with a property listed on Booking.com. You also have to transfer a 500 AUD deposit, which I got back a couple of days later in any case. If you stay past Thursday, the host requires you to put the bins on the roadside. No problems with taking the trash out. However, the roadside is several hundred meters away from the house. The road is steep, it first runs downhill then uphill again, and the bins had not been emptied beforehand, so they were very heavy. We managed to do this, but others might struggle.
