Elk Meadow - 4BR Near Whitefish Lake & Glacier National Park

We stayed at Elk Meadow as a group of friends (9 people, a mix of couples and singles) for several nights around New Year's, and we couldn't be happier with our stay at the property. It is a very spacious 2-story house (3-story if you count the little tower) with 4 separate bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The house had absolutely everything we needed for a very comfortable stay as a group. The house was warm (we stayed in the winter) and it's easy to control the temperature in individual rooms/zones. There's also plenty of entertainment e.g. hot tub, TV with streaming options, board games. The location is perfect: very private but at the same time close enough to Whitefish town center and quite close to the ski resort. We drove but if you don't, it's also manageable: you can take an Uber to / from the city center; there's a grocery store and even a Whitefish ski resort free shuttle stop within walking distance from the property. When we had questions, the management company representative was super responsive and helpful.

- When we stayed (in the winter) the driveway to the house was a bit slippery but there are multiple parking spots right next to the house off the main road so it's not a big issue. Also, the management company is working on a solution for the driveway. - Most of the rooms are downstairs and there's only one bathroom on the lower level. The other bathroom is an en-suite on the upper level, along with a half-bathroom. I wouldn't say it was a big problem for us; we were fine even though we were at full capacity.
