The staff were amazing, especially the girl (I think her name is Irina)- she gave me late checkout twice at no cost, and a free room upgrade on my 3rd night.
The staff were always happy and went out of their way. Its location is convenient to get around lower Manhattan, close to very cool bars, clubs, cafes and amazing restaurants, all within 10-15 min walk.
You hear noise between rooms, and is on a busy street, but they have a bowl of ear plugs which does the trick!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Having fresh water and coffee was nice, along with good snacks. Overall, the comfort level definitely matched the value.

- No light on bottom part of room - too dark.
- Bathroom was tiny. Couldn't sit on the toilet properly.
- Awkward climb on stairs to bed.
- Room was tiny.
- No windows.
- Big 'hole' next to bed overlooking the ceiling of other rooms.
