Stay Passport Express Gyeongseong Cheongnyangni

We booked it (Modern Boy Room) for the fun experience and that's what we got. Finding this place is quite easy, no matter if you are getting here by a bus or metro. It's in one of these 'shady' side streets, but still close to GS25, restaurants, cafés or a Lotte mall. We had small trouble checking in, the system didn't recognised our reservation number, but the girlie on the speaker helped us asap. The name and style of this place takes inspiration from japanese colonial period, when the Seoul Station was still named Gyeongseong Station which was finished in 1925. The space is quite tight, the stairs are bit narrow, so it simulates the inside of a train perfectly. The room was also quite small, we could not turn around with backpacks on our backs in the hallway. Otherwise the room was clean, well equipped (AC, air purifier, big flat screen, Bluetooth speaker, electric kettle (but no tea provided), incense (if you are into that), toilet with a bidet, hairdryer, basic amenities), just small. But we expected that. There's also a feature where you can have train noise to play in the background for the ultimate experience - this can be turned off or on as needed.

There's no window, but since we spent only one night, we didn't really need to look outside anyway. Also the smell of all the aroma oils everywhere was tripping me a bit - I'm quite sensitive when it comes to smells, so we had to run the AC the whole time we were inside.
