Cozy 4-bedroom apartment with lovely terrace

The apartment is walking distance from the train station. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes, depending upon your walking speed and the luggage you are transporting. The location of the apartment is excellent for exploring the inner part of the city. The Italians count street level as "0". Under the Italian system, the first (1) floor would be the second floor in America. Paolo was incredibly helpful and kind. He provided a detailed short video for our arrival that we were able to use to obtain the keys to the apartment, etc. He was also available by telephone for any questions. There is not an elevator in the building due to its overall age. (This is quite normal unless you are staying in a relatively new building or in a hotel.) Therefore it is necessary to carry your luggage up a short flight of stairs to a landing, then another short flight of stairs to another landing, etc. The stairs may be an issue for older people if they do not have assistance.The apartment is very clean and well maintained. There is a good sized living room and a good sized kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker with pods, etc. There are also dishes, silverware, and the like.There are two bedrooms on the main floor. One bedroom has an attached bathroom and the other bedroom has a bathroom right outside of its door. The second set of bedrooms and patio are on the next floor. Access is up another set of stairs. Overall, we really liked the apartment.

The host was very flexible in meeting me for check in. There were also a few questions that came up during the stay that were answered very quickly. When we were running low on coffee and needed an ironing board, he helped! I would recommend this apartment and would stay again. Thanks to Paolo!
