About this house rental
Located on the ocean side of Monteray Shores and just steps from both the Atlantic Ocean and the Currituck Sound (with a private community pier and boat launch), this stunning home was recently renovated and is waiting to welcome your family, friends, and even your dogs! Outside, Moondancer boasts a private, fenced pool, a hot tub under its own gorgeous trellis, a gas grill, lounge chairs, and ample seating. Inside, enjoy a beautifully appointed rec room with a big-screen smart TV, a light and bright open concept kitchen, a living area with new sofas, and a home office/den for a quiet space to read or work remotely. Moondancer is a short walk to the community amenities: clubhouse, playground, tennis courts, basketball court, gym, community pool, and boat launch. When you want to venture out, load up your car, air down your tires, and take a short drive to the Carova 4x4 area where the wild horses roam.
Ground Level: An entertainment haven, Moondancer’s lower level features a fully renovated rec room with a pool table, Bluetooth stereo, and a brand new big screen smart TV with cable, streaming, and HDMI gaming hookup. The rec room boasts new flooring and a kitchenette with a full-sized refrigerator and microwave, plus a laundry room. Two bedrooms on this level sleep up to six–one main bunkroom with an attached full bath and one bedroom with a streaming-enabled smart TV. Step through the sliding glass door into a fenced backyard featuring a huge private pool and brand new hot tub within a picturesque trellis and spacious outdoor shower. A gas grill, lounge chairs, and plenty of seating round out this outdoor oasis!
Mid Level: Moondancer’s middle level is a quiet retreat featuring three bedrooms and a private office/den. The main bedroom features a full bathroom, cable TV, and private deck access. A second bedroom features a large bay window overlooking the cul-de-sac and a smart TV. A cozy office/den features a sitting area for reading and relaxing and a desk for remote work. Rounding out this level is a full hallway bath and beautiful foyer library with a slider opening onto the second level deck (with pool access).
Top Level: Moondancers upper level is bright and airy, featuring a spacious open concept floorplan with bamboo floors, a newly renovated kitchen, a living area with plush new sofas, and a powder room. A perfect gathering place for group meals and entertainment (with a cabinet full of games and movies), the upper level features a smart TV, DVD player, and surround sound stereo and opens onto a wraparound deck with ocean breezes and partial sound views. Dog Crate is provided: The dog crate is 28' wide on the door side, 42' long and 30' high with plastic. The crate is suitable for a large dog. The crate is usually located in the 2nd floor office closet.

The private pool is unheated and has pool floats (including electric pumps) and toys.
Sliding doors with pool access feature child safety alarms.
Three beach wagons/carts, two umbrellas, five beach chairs, corn hole, bocce ball, and other games, sand toys, and several boogie boards provided
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check-in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.
Community pools are typically available for guest use Memorial Day through Labor Day and subject to close without notice.
