About this house rental

This stunning, newly refurbished 3 bedroom house by Above Rubies is kitted out with all you need for the ideal get away; whether you're in Skipton for work or play. Situated less than half a mile from Skipton Train Station, and close to the Leeds & Liverpool canal. You can take a scenic stroll straight into Skipton town centre and all the amenties it has to offer with its fantastic boutiue shops, cool cafes, restaurants, traditional pubs and bars just 0.7 miles away.

Bowling View is located in a peaceful, residential part of Skipton. The house is 0.3 miles from Skipton Train Station and a short walk from the Leeds and Liverpool Canal - boasting beautiful scenic walks along the canal into Skipton in one direction and Gargrave and beyond in the opposite direction.

Skipton Castle, The Yorkshire Dales, Bolton Abbey, Embsay Steam Railway, Malham, Worth Valley Railway, The 3 Peaks and many other local attractions are all within easy travelling distance - the location really is outstanding for convenience.

Guests have full private use of the house, as well as the front garden and back yard outside areas during their stay.

This stylish, comfortable home from home 3 bedroom house has recently been re-decorated to a high standard making it the perfect choice for your stay. Situated on a quiet gated cul-de-sac; Bowling Terrace is a peaceful choice for you to explore Skipton and the surrounding areas. There is a drive at the back of the house with parking for one small car and free on street parking is also available on Bowling View. The house has a lovely garden/patio to the front to sit out and enjoy the sun, which overlooks the Bowling Green, which this can be seen from both the ground and first floors to the front aspect of the house. Being able to eat and drink al fresco makes this home even more desirable.

The house boasts a large, light living room with a large bay window, original wooden floor boards and a fire place for cosy nights. There are two 3 seater sofas providing enough seating for everyone while watching the 50inch smart TV, which comes with Netflix and Virgn TV included. The kitchen/diner is fully equipped with Electric Oven, Gas Hob, Microwave, Washing Machine, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Kettle, Toaster, Pots, Pans, Utensils and even a Nespresso coffee machine along with a selection of coffee pods, so you really do have everything you need to enjoy your stay whatever your cooking requirements. We also have an Alexa speaker available for you to use.

Upstairs there is a beautiful king size bedroom complete with dressing table/desk, a separate twin bedroom that has 2 single beds and a third bedroom with one single bed. All beds come with good quality mattresses ensuring you have a comfortable night’s sleep, whichever bed you choose. The bedrooms also have stylish and contemporary furniture where you can store/hang your clothes. A travel cot can also be provided upon request. The bath room has a contemporary walk-in rain shower and vanity unit. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner are also provided for you.

The entrance to the garden/patio area is through the front of the house; it’s a great space to enjoy your morning coffee or to make the most of the summer evenings. Outdoor garden furtniture is provided for your use.

There is a driveway suitable for 1 small car at the back of the house and free on street parking can also be found on Bowling View, which runs adjacent to Bowing Terrace.

To maximise the use of your time here, despite the fact we have on-site parking, there is also a bus stop just a few minutes walk away and Skipton train station is less than 10 minutes away. This ensures you have flexible travel arrangements to get anywhere near or far, however you prefer.



Bowling Terrace is situated on a private, quiet, gated street, so we ask all guests to respect quiet hours after 10pm. The property is not suitable for parties, including hen or stag groups.

Dogs are allowed, but this must be requested with the type/size provided prior to arrival. Pet fees apply. (max 2)

Early check‑in and late check‑out may be available on request for an additional fee.

Smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the house. If you smoke outside on the patio, please dispose of cigarette ends carefully and respectfully.

Strictly no parties, events, loud noise or extra guests beyond those on the original booking. We operate a zero‑tolerance policy and you may be asked to leave, with no refund, if these rules are broken.

Longer stays are welcome. We often host contractors, business travellers, families relocating or guests needing a base while refurbishing their own home. Please contact us to discuss long‑term rates and any specific requirements.
