The back yard made this place! We saw toucans, all kinds of tropical birds, and monkeys . Heidy was great with communicating and helpful with finding local grocery stores etc. this house doesnt come with central A/C . The master bedroom has an air-conditioning unit in it and it gets very cold. It works great. There are fans in all other areas of the house . We kept the doors open and we would get a nice breeze. It was surprisingly comfortable . We have teenage girls who slept in the guest room and they said it did not get too hot for them.

Check in was a breeze, Heidy was waiting for us at the villa. Villa was clean and the location was perfect, delicious soda right up the road and Lafortuna was literally 5 mins. We could have stayed at the villa the whole time but we wanted to explore. We saw red-eyed tree frogs, howler monkeys, iguanas and toucans at the villa. We really felt at home and everyone had their own space ( Me and my adult 3 kids). The property was very safe, we never felt unsafe anywhere in Costa Rica for that matter. We will definitely be back.
