Welcome to Silver Crest Estate, the grand next chapter of Stately Studio (previously a studio only listing), set in historic Hillcrest, DC`s `Silver Coast.` The whole home is yours, with two living rooms, a chef`s kitchen plus a kitchenette, 3 full baths, two workspaces, laundry, and a covered porch overlooking a fenced yard. It sleeps 8 across 4 beds and includes a designated private parking spot. Metro and bus are a short walk away, and Capitol Hill is about 15 minutes by car.
The space
Silver Crest Estate is a 1939 brick home, thoughtfully renovated with stylish finishes throughout. Think warm oak floors, matte black fixtures, marble-look stone, modern lighting, and curated art. It spans multiple levels, so your group can gather together or spread out.
Main level: living, dining and chef`s kitchen
The sunlit main living room centers on a fireplace with a leather sofa, a swivel accent chair, and a streaming-ready TV. The dining table seats [6] under a modern chandelier. The chef`s kitchen has white shaker cabinetry, a black hexagon tile backsplash, a gas range, stainless appliances, and a French-door refrigerator. Its oversized marble-look island has bar seating for [4], and the kitchen is fully stocked for real home-cooked meals.
Workspace #1
A bright main-floor office nook sits beside a painted-brick feature wall. It has a desk, a bay window lined with books, and garden views.
Upper level: bedrooms and baths
Primary suite: [King/Queen] bed, smart TV, and an en-suite spa bathroom with a double floating vanity, lighted mirror, and walk-in glass shower
Bedroom 2: [Queen] bed with an upholstered bench, smart TV, and double closet
Bedroom 3: Queen Murphy bed that folds away to open the floor space, with an accent brick wall and a full-length mirror

Clean, beautiful large TV, kitchenette with everything needed for a pleasant stay.

The room was perfect size for 2 people. It was homey feeling and did not have to pay for parking. It was 20ish minutes from everything we wanted to do.
The bed was still wet when we got there and reeked of bleach. It seeped through one of my shirts and destroyed it. We had to sleep on the couch the first night.
The owner still had laundry down stairs and said he would come in later to get it after we checked in. We waited till he got it to do anything. The door to their house is only lockable from inside their area which made it feel a little weird that they could just come in whenever.
Because it’s a basement, you can hear everything. Someone was getting ready for work and we woke up to the loud foot steps and at one point they had friends over and it was very loud.
The booklet said not to unplug any cameras and when we asked the guy about cameras he said he was unsure.
