1. Rustic Rondavel with Wood-burner & Sauna – Long-stay Winter Retreat

Our rustic wooden Rondavel offers a truly unique stay in central Portugal – a circular cottage with isolated wooden walls, cozy wood-burner, and views stretching over the valley and orchards of our one-hectare farm. It's the perfect retreat for winter stays, remote work, or simply slowing down in nature.

Inside, the Rondavel has a comfortable double bedroom plus an extra room that can be set up as a children's bedroom or a small home office, making it flexible for families or longer stays. The living space includes a private bathroom and a simple kitchen area for self-catering, while outside you'll find a private terrace and firepit.

Guests also share access to our pool area with an authentic Finnish-style wood-fired sauna, outdoor hot tub, and a game house with pool table. Firewood for the sauna, hot tub, and fireplaces can be rented per use or included with a monthly upgrade for unlimited access.

Located just 20 minutes from Nazaré – home of the world's biggest waves – and 10 minutes from the historic town of Alcobaça, the Rondavel combines rural peace with easy access to Portugal's coast and culture.
