Stunning home, spacious, exceptional views and a wonderful cosy feel despite being large. Wi-Fi, DSTV and Netflix, lovely king size beds with great linen and comfortable pillows. Wonderful home for entertaining with so many seating areas and spacious open plan living. Pool and firepit must be wonderful in summer and the stargazing is superb! Very well equipped with appliances etc, though a coffee pod machine and milk frother would have been ideal! We absolutely love this home and will definitely be back!
A few maintenance issues need resolving - this is typical when rented out as a holiday home so I am only trying to be helpful to get the house back to tip top shape! Only one of 4 bathroom globes worked in our front downstairs bedroom, some of the stacking doors couldn't open fully due to rust / oxidisation (mainly dining area I think). Light switch in dining area is hanging out of the wall. Middle globe in kitchen island not working and kitchen light fittings dirty and generally very dim wattage for a kitchen. Underfloor heating in dining area does not work. Wood panels on either side of dishwasher are water damaged. A whole section of the patio is lifting up and tiles cracking which is a tripping hazard. The leather couch in the lounge has no velcro to hold the seat cushions in place so twice while lying down I slid off on to the floor (not fun as I have 3 broken vertebrae in my back!)! As it was exceptionally cold it would have been nice to have some blankets, especially while lying watching telly in the lounge. The balustrade in the front of the lounge outdoor seating area is decaying. One of the deck loungers outside is broken. Dish drying rack is rusted. Some of the cupboards need hinge adjustments. Blinds broken in bottom front bedroom shower and also on upstairs landing. Light switches need better labeling as there are so many of them but most labels are faded:)

Die Unterkunft ist sehr ansprechend mit einer guten Lage mit teilweise Blick in die Bucht. In der Unterkunft haben wir uns sehr sicher gefühlt. Wir haben keine Affen gesehen oder auch nur gehört.
Die Unterkunft ist leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Was sehr schade ist, da es eine schöne Immobilie ist.
Es gibt hier ein Feuchtigkeitsproblem. Es riecht sehr muffig im Haus und vor allem aus den Schränken. Die Feuchtigkeitsprobleme sind sichtbar und an einer Wand wurde einfach eine Platte vor geschraubt. Der Schimmel und die Sporen sind damit leider immer noch vorhanden. In den Badezimmern sind mehrere Fugen raus, gebrochen und der übliche Schimmel in Badezimmern.
Das größte Problem war jedoch ein Geräusch auf dem Dach, was uns zwei Nächte nicht hat, schlafen lassen. Es hört sich an wie ein Presslufthammer der zwei Ecken weiter im Sekundentakt durchgängig benutzt wird. Das Geräusch entsteht bei bestimmten Winden, und der Eigentümer kann es nicht orten. Wir vermuten, dass es von dem Dach und der Solaranlage kommt.
Leider hatten wir auch etwas Pech mit der Reinigung vor unserer Ankunft. Die Unterkunft war nahezu ungeputzt. Ein Bett war nicht frisch überzogen, Zahnbürsten und Müll von den Vermietern waren noch im Haus, die Scheiben waren eklig mit Essen beschmiert, fast das komplette Geschirr war schmutzig im Schrank. Ich bin wirklich nicht pingelig, aber das war grenzwertig und eklig. Hier bedarf es mal einer Grundreinigung, auch der Schränke und Griffe.
Die Vermieterin war zwar sehr nett und hat am nächsten Tag um 7:30 Uhr eine Putzfrau geschickt. Bis 18:00 Uhr war sie im Haus und hat die Arbeiten erledigt. Dies empfanden wir als sehr störend.
Für zwei verlorene Nächte und anderthalb Tage mit einer in geputzten Unterkunft und der Putzfrau einen Tag im Haus wurden uns 100 € Entschädigung gegeben. Erst nach weiterer Aufforderungen wurden uns weitere 250 € überwiesen.
Bei einer Miete von knapp 800,-€ pro Nacht ist das nicht Ordnung.
Alleine aufgrund der Affen kann ich die Unterkunft nicht empfehlen. Habe Geschichten gehört, die es sehr anstrengend machen die Unterkunft zu nutzen, wenn die Affen in der Nähe der Unterkunft sind.
