    This hotel was not bad. It had a good location if your coming for Laos new years. The breakfast selection was bare minimum but I like how they offered free smoothies for breakfast. No elevator which I think most hotels in luangprabang don't have so you have to walk up some flights of stairs if your on the third floor but it's not too bad. Rooms were quite clean and air conditioning was strong.

    The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the main sights in the historic quarter. Breakfast is almost inedible: stale cereal and rubber eggs and omlettes. I asked for a cappuccino and it tasted vile. Smoothies were ok. They wanted 10 dollars for a minivan to the airport when you can get a green bus for about a dollar. The chubby slightly older male staff member on reception was weird and interfering; whereas the other staff seemed friendly enough. The room had a weird smell as if they were trying to cover the smell of smoke. As other reviews mention their is no sound insulation and you can hear everything in the other rooms.

    This small 3 floor hotel has a pool with lovely cool water. Rooms on the ground floor, built on 2 sides of the pool, are literally 5 feet from the water. And sounds echo through the 3 floors so it can be noisy. From the French doors in my room I could look across the pool into the opposite room. You either closed the drapes and/or the doors for privacy, or you left the doors open to the fresh air. I was there for 10 nights, and I do not believe my sheets were changed at all. The bathroom glasses were not always washed, and after the first night I received 2 bath towels, 2 face cloths, but no hand towels. Staff were very helpful and friendly, and, yes, I would stay there again.
