La Palm Garden - Luang prabang

Overall very good, almost no compalints

We had pretty much constant problems with the Wifi, despite there being about 5 different ones to choose from

What’s not to like about this place, very comfortable, close to the night markets plus their are convenience shops opposite (small eatery for great evening meals) and next door (small supermarket for beer, water, chips & nuts, soft drinks). Fabulous pool and decent size pool towels. Our room D4 was a really big size room with lots of discs and we could actually unpack as there was storage drawers and hanging space. Very friendly staff and a good book selection. We extended our stay by a few days as we were so comfortable

ALL Laos hotels have overcooked breakfast (the eggs & the bacon) so not picking on this one specifically

My favorite hotel in Luang Prabang! Excellent location, very comfy bed, friendly attentive staff, great pool with lots of trees. Room was big, AC worked great and was a modern quiet machine, pillows were great, shower was nice and hot with good pressure. Room was quiet at night yet only a couple minute walk from the night market. Breakfast is good but nothing special, typical buffet. They do have an espresso machine though which rocks. Gym was limited but easy to use. There is a quality Laotian restaurant across the street.

The swimming pool and facilities around it were very good The location was also very convenient

Overall the standards of the room was not 4 ⭐️ also the dining facility. Furniture as well as eg bathrobes were old and very much used
