Bleu Ocean

Everything. We had a late departure and missed our connecting flight, had to fly to another island so we could finally arrive in Guadeloupe and then our luggage was lost. Janette waited up very late to welcome us, and the next day she helped to locate our luggage. We were so very grateful. Then, when we left, a necklace was left behind, and she contacted us. If you plan to stay in Deshaies, look no further than Bleu Ocean. It is such a lovely place, one minute walk from 'Catherine's Bar' (La Madras) used in 'Death in Paradise' (although you will hardly recognise it!). You can see it from the balcony at Bleu Ocean. The lovely Grande Anse Beach is nearby with beautiful golden sand and places to eat, but remember to pay the car park cost. Thank you, Janette, for such a lovely place to stay, and for being so kind and helpful.

L'appartement se situe à environ 50 mètres de la mer, au début de la rue la plus charmante de Deshaies. Un parking gratuit se trouve à moins de 100 mètres (mais la montée est raide). L'appartement est très spacieux et bien équipé ; tout fonctionne parfaitement.

Côté ensoleillé, trois fenêtres sont dépourvues de rideaux ou de stores. De ce fait, l'appartement chauffe assez rapidement.

La proximité de tout ! On etait vraiment à côté de tout c’est super pratique

Very large and comfortable apartment in the perfect location. Both Booking and Google maps have it in the wrong location! It is in fact right by the sea…100m along the street from ‘Catherine’s Bar’, the waterside restaurant area of the Madras.

A bit tricky to find…given the above comments! No real worries though!
