About this villa rental
Ideally located in the heights of the fishing village of Deshaies, classified 3 stars by the municipality of Deshaies. This brightly colored house will complete your Caribbean vacation. Built in the Creole tradition and nestled in lush vegetation, it consists of two bedrooms (one double, one with 2 single beds), a bathroom with separate toilet, a large living room open to the outside (with sofa bed ) and an over-equipped kitchen (stove, microwave, coffee machine, large fridge and freezer, kettle, thermomix, toaster). Facing the sea, you can enjoy this peaceful and well-ventilated living environment, in the morning enjoying your coffee on the terrace or in the evening while lounging in the deckchairs. The large garden which extends around the house provides a perfect playground for children or a space for barbecue with friends. Depending on the season, juicy mangoes or traditional breadfruit will only have to be picked to be immediately tasted. If you want to find some animation or swim in the turquoise water, the village of Deshaies and the beach of Grande Anse are a few minutes away. Finally, although you are in a very ventilated area, if you like very fresh air, the ventilators and air conditioning will be your allies. The ground floor house is accessible to all.

Incredibly relaxing environment in the hills above Deshais -amazing sunsets over the oceanHard late finding late evening, flight delayed, ages to get rental car (don’t use Sixt) and incorrect address by VrboGreat to find find food and drink waiting on arrival, host Suzie who came next day (Xmas Day!) was greatOne track steep roads took practise and walking into town OK but athletic returning -we drove!

Suzy waited for us when we came late. She prepared a gourmet dinner for us. She was very helpful. The house has great options for a group or couple. The view is fantastic and I like the area very much.

My husband and I recently spent 5 days at Kaz a Dany with our two nieces (ages 21 and 23). It was fabulous. Dany was helpful from the very beginning--answering all of our questions and giving advice as we planned our trip. The description of the rental is accurate, but does not do justice to this lovely cottage. The cottage is charming , impeccably clean, and well maintained. We stayed in two evenings to cook dinner in the fully equipped kitchen and enjoy dinner on our terrace---where we had breakfast every morning--lots of birds and no mosquitoes! The bedrooms have plenty of space and the beds are very comfortable. We used the AC only to sleep. The rest of the time the house was breezy and comfortable. A small meal and punch were waiting for us when we arrived. The next morning we received a warm welcome from Dany's cousin Suzi, who gave us great advice on beaches and restaurants.
The cottage is located in a very private, quiet spot, but is close to beautiful beaches (la plage Leroux was our favorite), and many restaurants (we liked Chez Lilinne at la plage Grande-Anse, Kaz a Pat in town, and Cherry's Pizzieria). The cottage is also close to les Jardins Botaniques (beautiful) and other sites.
I promise that if you go to Guadeloupe and stay at Kaz a Dany--you will not be disappointed!

We stayed for a month at this sweet house near Deshaies. It is located high on a hill overlooking the sea. Therefore we had fantastic views of the sunset everyday. They even have comfortable chairs to sit out in the yard to watch the sunset and stars! The house is very well equipped in the kitchen with all the dish ware and culinary items you could imagine. The property manager, Suzy was wonderful and was there waiting for us, even though we arrived late at night and she had warm food and drinks for us. It was a wonderful welcome.
The beds are very comfortable and we were given clean linens and towels each week. The house was spotless. It is in a very safe and quiet neighborhood. There is even a gourmet restaurant in walking distance that shouldn't be missed. On hot afternoons we enjoyed sitting in the shade under the two big mango trees enjoying the cool breeze. There were screens on the slats on the top of the window so ceiling fans made the rooms comfortable at night. AC is in the bedrooms if you need it. The only draw back was the steep drive up to the house but it's worth it when you get up there, for the cool breezes. It is not a walkable road down to the village. Beautiful beaches are a close drive away. I would highly recommend this lovely cottage for a wonderful vacation in paradise.
