The Artists Beach House

The house was well equipped and beautiful. Every window had a jaw dropping view. Stayed at the house as a group of 10 adults, 1 child and 1 baby. We each had space and break out areas so that we weren't in each other's pockets. We ended up cooking all our meals in the kitchen over heading into town for meals (except for coffee, while there is a pod machine, we didn't see a frother). The dining table was large enough to accommodate us all together, which made of great family meals and precious memories. Kitchen with a view, ping pong, large TV in the main lounge, listening lounge equipped with a great record collection, outdoor hot tub and a beautiful fire pit set up. There's so much for everyone.

The road up to the house was very steep, unsealed in parts and windy. It was fine once you got used to it, but definitely a caught off guard and I felt momentarily nervous the little car wouldn't have enough grunt to get up to the house. But the drive up was worth the view at the top. The house is advertised as dog friendly, just be conscious to let them know if you are intending to bring more than 1 dog DURING your free cancellation period. We learnt late that their policy is for only 1 dog, and were scrambling for a dog sitter, but fortunately the booking company managed to arrange permission for 2 mature dogs to be able to stay.
