We had a wondeful stay in Canaan Valley with some of our extended family. The the host Brian was extremely communicative the entire duration of our stay and the lodgings were comfortable and spacious for our group of 12. The house was clean, well stocked with welcome amenities + toiletries. Kitchen was equipped with all the major utensils / pots / pans / baking dishes etc it was no problem keeping our group of 12 well fed.
The scenery / view of the state park across the street was gorgeous and we even got to see some of the local wildlife without even leaving the house.
Located a short drive away from both Canaan Valley + Timberline, it was very convenient to have two great ski areas so close. We had two great days at C.V. after the storm and all of the skiers/riders had a great time.
No major complaints from our group! We were running a little low on bath towels but we made do using the hot tub towels and keeping up with the laundry. The hot tub controls are a little finicky but we managed to get it working.
