Urban Oasis Six Suites Apts Porto

The short story...I would give this place an A+ rating. Some details...Super clean and modern place, tree lined street, great location within walking distance to a lot of cool areas and even when you need a ride share somewhere it's not long of a ride. Most of our rides in Porto were 4-6€. We also had a rental car and were able to find daytime and overnight parking for all 3 days we were there. Pay attention! You have to pay to park during the day and they do give fines, use one of the parking apps and it will give you an alert when your time is expiring , you can reload the meter from the app. Weekend parking day and night is free! The front balcony has a giant window/door you can open when the weather is nice, same in the bedroom. Air conditioning units in the bedroom and front room. Kitchen is very nice and we had everything we needed for cooking breakfast and snacks. Buy some Delta coffee pods if you need more than 2 pods for your stay. Nice to have a second bathroom in the hall when you have more than one person. We liked not having to deal with any keys. The front door, the elevator and the door to the unit are all push button codes. Pro tip...the elevator code is entered on the floor selection buttons in the elevator. We were looking for a key pad but it's the regular buttons you'd push for the floors. Great little coffee shop right across the street. Goes without saying that they also have pastries and muffins. If you're starving, the Porto hotel a couple doors down has a really basic breakfast with eggs, ham, bread, pastries, coffee, tea...for 9€ (very basic).

I prefer a foam or hybrid (foam/spring) mattress. I wouldn't say the the mattress was bad, it just wasn't "aaaahhhh". Upgrading the mattress would have made our stay next level. I'm 200lbs/91kg so I'm not a giant guy but at almost 60 years old I really appreciate a extra comfortable mattress. Maybe I'm just a little spoiled. One other small thing, they need a new frying pan. The hosts were so attentive that if you see this and mention it to them, they would probably have a new one there before you arrive.

Fantastic location- close to metro, supermarket and facilites in the apartment. Spotless kitchen with large fridge. Bathrooms with shower gel and shampoo. Comfortable beds. The hostess was very available and happy to help with anything I needed. I couldn't have asked for more.

Clean and nice. Good help from the host. Good kitchen with everything you need. Two toilets and a good shower.

The view from the bedroom is not the best.
