Comfortable well located for Tamworth town and good value for money

Property was clean tidy in a good location with a well equipped kitchen and good off street parking and had a charger if you had an electric car

The only faults were there was no wine bottle opener and the glass door needs to be fixed to the bath as it has not been sealed properly.These are minor faults that can be resolved very easily and quickly.

Great Short Break at Halford house.

Great Location, easy to find and straightforward process to pick up keys (we arrived quite late in the evening). Responsive hosts and were available for any questions throughout our stay. Very cosy property and great facilities which were as described. We visited Drayton Manor theme park on one of the days and the property was perfectly located for this. Town of Tamworth is lovely and we also enjoyed visiting the castle and surrounding area. Short walk to town centre with plenty of food and supermarket options. Could only stay for 3 nights but will bear the property in mind for any future visits to the area.

Upon arrival there was no obvious welcome pack for the property (e.g. wifi details, appliances operation, checkout process / rubbish collection, local area amenities etc). Most information was available either through the booking information emails or with notes dotted around the property (for instance the wifi details were on the router on the floor, rubbish information next to the rubbish bin) and the appliance operation was guesswork. All quite simple to work out but upon initial check in / throughout the stay its nice to have everything in one place for reference.

Fantastic Family Stay – Perfect Location & Great Host! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a brilliant stay at Halford House – it was perfect for us as a family of five with three children. The location couldn’t be better: right next to Tamworth town centre, an easy walk to shops and attractions, and just minutes from the SnowDome and Drayton Manor. The house itself was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, streaming TV, and a lovely garden with outdoor seating. The off-road parking for two cars was a huge bonus. One of the unexpected highlights was finding an incredible Indian meal just around the corner at the Tamworth Arms – honestly one of the best we’ve had!
