We verbleven begin november één nacht in dit lekker ruime appartement en hadden het heerlijk. De locatie is echt fantastisch — je steekt de straat over en staat op de kilometerslange boulevard aan zee, en ook het gezellige centrum van Dénia ligt op loopafstand. Ideaal als je overdag wilt wandelen langs het water of in de natuur (Montgó natural park) en ’s avonds wilt flaneren door de straatjes en langs de haven. Het appartement zelf is ruim en comfortabel ingericht, met een prima bed en een fijne douche. Het grote terras is een absolute bonus — perfect om ’s ochtends in de zon te ontbijten of ’s avonds nog even na te genieten van de dag. Alles voelde verzorgd en ontspannen aan. We troffen het met het weer en hebben volop genoten van de rust, het licht en de sfeer. Absoluut een aanrader voor wie houdt van zee, stad én comfort!

Wij hadden geen probleem met parkeren maar ik kan me voorstellen dat het in het hoogseizoen even zoeken is naar een paar parkeerplaats voor de deur

I just loved everything about this - wow!! Denia, and especially this part of Denia is just something else. The beach is just across the street with an amazing little restaurant on the beach, serving from breakfast to well into the night… The beach is quiet, and not your stereotypical Spanish Costa beach. So relaxing! The swimming there is bliss, and so safe. I highly recommend walking the pedestrian boulevard, which is even lit at night. It’s safe, peaceful, beautiful and with a number of restaurants along the way if you keep walking along. You can go for miles, mainly without any cars. There are also a number of restaurants close to the appartement. It’s in the quieter part of town, but the city centre with all its shops, bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance. There’s a great little street full of nice restaurants close to the church in town. And I just loved the apartment, which isnt anything too fancy but is quality and has all you need, and especially the huge terrace. I could have stayed there forever. Two palm trees next to the terrace and trees lining the road and the beach, where it is free and easy to park (we didn’t use the garage which is available). Great walk in shower, well equipped kitchen and a nice TV/living room (where we hardly stayed as we preferred the terrace and the beautiful beach literally one minute away). Who wants to be inside in that weather ;-). I highly recommend and will certainly be back!! And it’s also close (but not too close) to the ferries that go from Denia to Ibiza and Formentera, either for a day trip or longer. So a great base for a longer trip, maybe before or after the islands, too.

It doesn’t have a swimming pool. But who needs a pool when you have such a beautiful beach across the road!
