Walk to Hudson River Parks: Recently Renovated Apt

Location is close to cafes and restaurants. Good shower water pressure. Nice size living room, small but new kitchen appliances.

Steeet parking was very difficult to find, even with the additional payment of $20/day permit parking option. The place was mostly clean but there were marks on light switches, food stains on the dining room chairs. I arrived at night and there was no light to indicate the house number, nor a light on the side walkway, which was made narrow by the garbage and recycling bins. There was also no light leading down the stairs to the front of the unit. There was a drain hole there with a broken plastic cover, and I felt lucky I missed it. There is central air conditioning/heating but the renter will not have any control over it. The first 2 nights were very warm. Thankfully, I found an electric fan. The contact information I received from Evolve which gave me the check-in information was incorrect. Wrong person altogether. Thankfully, he texted me back, telling he had nothing to do with that rental property and gave me the correct information.

This basement apartment was perfect! Cute little courtyard to sit outside and comfy couch, nice TVs, very clean, comfy bed, cute little kitchen, coffee provided. Everything I could possibly need!

Great location, clean, all the amenities, and very spacious! Bed was super comfortable and quiet garden apartment, you can't hear people upstairs. Walking distance to many excellent restaurants and long strolls on the riverfront with views of the NYC skyline. Perfect for parents visiting kids that attend Steven's University as it's a block from campus. The owners were very responsive and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable. I highly recommend!
