A comfortable basement apartment in a quiet neighbourhood, a twenty-minute drive from the airport. The instructions for the check-in were clear and exhaustive. The price is very reasonable. Would stay again!

Everything was good

The only thing I did not like is that you could hear the people upstairs walking around but they but after 9 ish it was quiet. .

This newer suite was immaculately clean and accurately represented according to the listing. We especially liked the bathroom/shower and the towels were good. For people with cars, the location is a short drive from YHZ and the greater Halifax area, making it convenient for a first night's stay after arrival from the airport. We were three people (family group) so ordered the extra bed (floor mattress for $10), one slept on the sofa bed, one on the floor mattress and one on the sofa. Entry was simple with clear instructions from the host about everything from how to find the door to where we could park. Coffee maker, fridge, and drinking water are provided. Openable windows with screens allow for fresh air without entry of mosquitoes.

While an extra floor mattress was available, there was no bedding provided for it. Luckily we had our own duvets and pillows in the car. The suite is very small and there is no traditional bed set up. There is a sofa bed (full size), a 3 seater sofa and the option to have an extra single floor mattress for $10, so sleep-comfort is adequate but not optimal. The value and upcharges for a weekend stay or laundry (available in a locked closet that can be unlocked for $20) are also not so competitive with other pricing we have seen. While Lower Sackville provides some good breakfast options (we ate at the Stacked Pancake house) there is nothing in the immediate residential neighbourhood of this apartment, so a car is definitely needed.

Das Zimmer mit Bad ist gut ausgestattet und vom Flughafen aus mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Die freundlichen Gastgeber wohnen oben im Haus, wir haben sie am Morgen aber kaum gehört.

Kein großes Problem, aber erwähnenswert: Das Bett ist eine ausgezogene Couch und nicht ganz so bequem. Für eine Nacht aber völlig in Ordnung.
