Vincenzo was very lovely and accommodating. The night that we arrived he had prepared some biscuits with some limoncello for us to try. He was very generous to give us some of his bottled water as he said the tap water was no good. He also showed us a nice cafe one morning and very kindly bought us coffee. On our last day, he let us store our bags for a few hours so that we could explore the city for longer. The apartment was a short walk into the centre of town and very close to the train station. The room was well-kept and I loved the style of the antique furniture. The bathroom was very clean. Although we didn't use it, there was a kitchen which seemed well-equipped.

Yes, it’s a separate room in a very big apartment, which could be a plus and a minus at the same time to different people, but for me personally it felt like a hotel room with everything we needed and even more than that. It was quiet, we were not disturbed, so it was really nice. The room was well equipped with the vintage furniture and local ceramics made by the owner’s mother. It felt like that everything there was made with a great taste. As for facilities, we had a separate bathroom with the entrance only from our room, which was comfortable enough. The hospitality of the owner was exceptional and above our expectations: he was very friendly and polite, serving us with a welcoming drink and gelato, which was really nice after the journey, suggesting us some places, even he didn’t speak English well. He also allowed us to store our luggage till our departure. The location was perfect to get everywhere in the city centre without using public transport.

The speed of the internet could be improved, since it’s a huge apartment, it’s not working perfectly.

Vincenzo was the perfect host! He met us on arrival and showed us around the apartment. When we asked for the location of a supermarket, he walked with us to show the way! Nothing was too much trouble. The shared kitchen was well equipped and Vincenzo supplied coffee sachets for the coffee machine. Our room was comfortable and beautifully decorated in old Sicilian style. The apartment was a short walk from the bus and train station and not too far from Palermo's main attractions and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again if we return.

Rezerwując pokój ABSOLUTNIE nie miałem informacji, że PRYWATNA ŁAZIENKA jest poza POKOJEM, PRYWATNA KUCHNIA jest WSPÓLNA, z przykrytymi ceratą palnikami, które wydawały się nie do użytku. Nie miałem informacji, że GOSPODARZ mieszka z nami i 24 godziny na dobę mamy szansę się na niego natknąć ( np. o 2 w nocy, idąc siusiu). Nie zdawałem sobie sprawy, że będziemy się czuć OBSERWOWANI, SPRAWDZANI, UCISZANI itp. W pewnym momencie INTERNET został chyba WYŁĄCZONY przez gospodarza, połączenie wieczorem się rozsypało i było nieaktywne do rana. Goście wychodzący o 3 nad ranem zachowywali się bardzo głośno, obudzili nas, ale akurat byli Włochami, więc dla gospodarza nie było to problemem. Jak gospodarz miał potrzebę to o 5 rano odkurzał i mopował pokój obok naszego. Za tą kasę , w tej lokalizacji znajdziecie pokoje, czy mieszkanka, gdzie będziecie się czuli komfortowo, bo tu, nie ukrywam, komfort psychiczny ze spokojnego, normalnego korzystania z pokoju za który zapłaciliście jakąś tam kasę był... ZEROWY. Łóżko może nawet wygodne, deska sedesowa może nawet czysta, ale nie czujesz tego , bo dusi cię SYTUACJA i przepaść między tym, co przedstawione i tym, co zastane.
