    I had a truly wonderful stay at SP&U. The room I stayed in as well as the common areas were beautifully maintained. Everything from the bedframe to the chairs and tables are hefty, good quality items. Cleanliness is obviously a top priority. I'm not sure about the back rooms but the front rooms have large open balconies. The best part is probably the owners. Both Svietlana and Paul are lovely, warm people who are so easy to chat to and knowledgeable about Phnom Penh. They cook their vegetarian/vegan meals themselves in their own kitchen and what I tried was delicious. Paul makes his own Kombucha and they harvest their own honey as well. I really liked the taste of them both. Finally, the location in the Russian Market area makes it a great spot for going out to a large number of boutique (but not expensive) restaurants catering to and mostly owned by foreigners. Also, lots of Cambodian cuisine from small restaurants if that's what you're looking for. Coffee shops abound nearby as well. The city isn't huge, so getting anywhere on a Tuk Tuk via Grab is fast and cheap anyway. In summary, I would definitely recommend a stay here and will be back on my way through Phnom Penh.

    This was a great last minute stay for us. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very clean (as was the common room). Svietlana and Paul were incredibly accommodating - 10/10 hospitality. My room was on a high floor and was pretty quiet for being a busy area . The hotel is very close to Russian market, bars, shops. Loved this stay and I’m so glad we ended up here.
