Penryn Quayside Apartment – 1-bed, Fully Equipped Waterside base

The property was in a great location. It had most of what you needed, with a fully equipped kitchen and tv.

The storage facilities weren’t amazing, the washing machine didn’t work, and some of the sofa pillows had a funny smell. It was also quite challenging to get a response from the property managers. The apartment was very sweet and kitchen was fully quipped, but improvements on the above points would really make it perfect.

Location was ideal and located close to some nice restaurants.

The property is well situated as a base to explore parts of Cornwall using your own vehicle or public transport.

The property is in need of some repairs, maintenance and modernisation. As in a previous review we found toilet paper and a small bottle of water under the bed. There were some stains on the bedroom carpet. The kitchen unit doors are in poor condition due to water damage and age. The kitchen hob needs a really good clean. Mugs were found stained. There was a small dish with old batteries that had clearly started to corrode. The oven door needs cleaning along with the kettle and utensil holder. The silicone around the bath has mould. The towel radiator in the bathroom is showing signs of age with surface rust. The paint in the bathroom on the woodwork is chipped and flaking off. The bathroom extractor fan and around it needs a clean.One of the cushions on the sofa had wholes, again down to wear and tear and food crumbs were found in the sofa bed. The living room curtains had signs of mould on the bottoms. The whole place needs a rely good clean with some repairs carried out and modernisation.
