Very friendly and helpful hosts. Lovely location on a working farm with beautiful walks around the farm. The house is spacious and had everything I needed.

Everything! Wowza! This little gem, owned and run by the Mey family, was a godsend find on the booking platform. It offered the perfect balance — close enough to town for convenience, yet far enough to truly switch off and reconnect with nature.
It’s a pity our stay was so short, as we would have loved to experience more of the farm, but that just means we’ll be back! Lauren, Shawn, and the kids were wonderful hosts. From sharing stories about the farm to short tours and thoughtful treats, their love for the land, the accommodation, and their guests was evident in every interaction.
We knew we were heading to a farm and packed accordingly, but the extra personal touches were so appreciated — bug spray, standing fans, breakfast treats, and more. It’s these small details that make a stay feel special.
The family has been on the farm for less than a year, yet they’ve already transformed it into something truly beautiful. We wish them nothing but the best and hope to visit again very soon!

Privacy of cottage, old farmhouse feel, friendly dogs and pigs and horses, dam to swim in
Rubbish all goes into one bin. Despite quite severe drought the irrigation was not used in a water efficient way. Dogs are friendly but boisterous. People afraid of dogs will struggle
