The location is a strong advantage, especially if you rent a car. The apartment is just 5–7 minutes from the airport, which makes arrival and departure very convenient. It is also well positioned in a central part of the island, with easy access to essential supermarkets and daily services nearby. From this location, most destinations on the island can be reached within 40–50 minutes, making it efficient for exploring different areas without long drives.

Initially, I did not plan to leave a low rating, as the staff were genuinely friendly and responsive. Communication was clear most of the time, and they stayed in touch and tried to assist whenever possible. The only exception was the long and sometimes confusing instructions provided via Booking. However, the apartment itself significantly affected the overall experience. The humidity level inside was extremely high, even dry clothes became damp overnight. It was practically impossible to dry anything indoors, so we had to leave clothes in the car and let them dry during the day while driving around the island. There was also a serious issue with insects. Many small ants were present, and the apartment was located next to a technical/utility room where cockroaches were visible. Occasionally, I found dead cockroaches inside the apartment as well. The electrical system was very weak, using a hairdryer for more than a few minutes would cause the electricity to shut off. To be fair, the apartment appeared relatively clean on the surface, considering the conditions. However, visible signs of mold, the persistent smell, and the presence of insects made it uncomfortable to stay there. It constantly felt necessary to keep everything closed and be cautious. Lanzarote is not a place where you spend most of your time indoors, but towards the end of the trip, when you want to rest, it was difficult to relax in this apartment. We often delayed returning because it simply wasn’t a pleasant environment.
