Casa Frida - Beachfront Ocean View

Casa Frida is located right across the beach! The views from the unit are spectacular with pictures of sunrises and sunsets worthy of framing! Niki is amazing! Her recommendations were great, and after the recent political explosion with the termination of the cartel leader, she put us at ease about the safety of visiting PM and maintained communication throughout our stay. We walked to restaurants and to the market for all our needs. The pool, although fairly smaller and shallow at the shallow end, is refreshing to take a dip in after a swim in the bath water temp ocean!! We’ll be back!

I would think that high season could get a bit loud from the bars with live music, but we loved it there especially meeting visitors who come to stay for months at a time!

We last year we had beach chairs so we could move down the beach an sit were we wanted to. This year they were not ther.no soap or shampoo in showers.

I absolutely loved this place, felt like home. Everything was super clean and smelled good, the beds and pillows were so comfortable! The way it is decorated is lovely and looks better than in the pictures. I can tell the owners put a lot of love into their place. Niki, one of the owners contacted us the first moment we booked and followed up through the entire time we were there. Roberto the property manager onsite met us at our arrival, he is a very nice man, very polite and helped us with our questions. The property is quiet, perfect for a family. Third floor unit right in front of the beach with a beautiful view (you will enjoy a nice sunshine in the morning right in front of you), close to town and places to eat next door or within a short walk. You can take a cab to town ofr $2-4 USD but if you like walking, you can also walk or ride a bike. We rented a car for a couple of days to go to Playa de Carmen and visit a Cenote, otherwise we didnt it need it. I must say that my mother us very very picky when we travel so I make sure to research a lot before making a reservation. This was though the first time I booked a place that didnt have a review yet because it was a new property in Booking but I liked the pictures so much that I decided to "take a risk"; well.....my mother loved it. We will for sure rent this same place no doubt if we come back to Puerto Morelos. If you are tired of looking and can´t make a decision, don´t hesitate to rent Niki´s Casa Frida, you´ll love it.
