About this house rental
Family house, 500m from the small sea of Gâvres, 5 minutes from Port Louis, fortified town at the entrance to the bay of Lorient with its beaches, its night market. Close to all amenities, shops, buses and water buses allow you to travel in the agglomeration of Lorient to the island of Groix and to enjoy the car-free inter-Celtic festival at the beginning of August. 10 minutes from the great beaches of Plouhinec which extend over 30km to Quiberon, 30 minutes from Carnac, 40 minutes from Vannes.
The accommodation: Having become guests following our move, we have decided to make available our spacious house that can accommodate up to 8 travelers to allow you to discover our beautiful region.
Composed of a large bathroom, two toilets, three bedrooms, one of which is on the first floor with its private shower room, a spacious kitchen/living room and a comfortable living room with its convertible bed. A covered terrace and a 350m2 garden will allow you to enjoy the mild Breton climate.
Several shops within walking distance, as well as the park of the Château de Kerdurant, its summer swimming pool, football field and playground. The bus 300m away will take you to the port of Pen Mané, to take the shuttle crossing the harbour and dock in the centre of Lorient in 10 minutes.
Visits and walks:
- Night markets in Port Louis July/August.
- The various shuttles to the Gâvres peninsula from Port Louis, the island of Groix from Lorient, or to Belle île en Mer from Quiberon.
- The RIA of ETEL and its famous house in the water watching over the island of Saint Cado.
- The citadel of Port Louis and its two museums.
- Hennebont and its fortified town.
- A visit to the Lorient submarine base and the Flore submarine and its museum.
- The alignments of menhirs on Carnac and its beach overlooking the bay of Quiberon.
- Vannes, its castle and its old town typical of Venetian architecture.
- The Quiberon peninsula and its wild coast.
And many more visits or walks to discover Southern Brittany, several documentations available on site.
