About this house rental

The house is located in the historical town of Port Louis, built in 1930 with battlement stones from the 17th century, with a small inner patio. It is very peaceful, located in front of the pleasant fishing harbour in Locmalo, 300 m from the beach. At your disposal: bicycles, kayaks, canoeing... Fully equipped house: dishwasher, microwave, large refrigerator, freezer, toaster, kettle, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, live box connection.
Ideal for the holidays of a large family or 2 families with children; board games, painting, or shellfish picking on the small sea of Gavres; Lorient can be accessed by car of course, but also by a water taxi! As well as Gavres and its large beach of 10 km! There are 2 sailing camps in the summer. Every island Belle Ile en Mer, Groix... has boat access. Market on Saturday mornings, in the summer night market every Tuesday night after the concerts, water jousting in Locmalo harbour.

Très belle maison

Location pleine de charme à deux pas de l’eau. Pour les amateurs de kayak et paddle, la mer est au bout du jardin !! La cour est un peu exiguë mais bien ensoleillée. Chambres confortables et logeables, dont une avec une vue splendide sur la baie.

Maison idéalement située à 2 pas de la plage , 5 minutes à pied du centre et du très chouette marché du samedi matin. Nous étions 10 dont 6 ados( chambre dortoir idéale dans cette situation ), aucun problème de place pour un week-end, cuisine très bien équipée .literie ok. Confort simple , maison traditionnelle chaleureuse et accueillante....a l'image de Sophie la propriétaire très très arrangeante et disponible . Tout était parfait pour nous !

Das Haus liegt in Laufweite von 2 schönen Stränden und bietet auf 3 Etagen viel Platz. Sehr schön ist die Sicht direkt vom großen Bett in der obersten Etage auf die Bucht von Locmalo. Sehr schön sind auch der Innnenhof und die große Küche. Weil das Haus von den Besitzern bewohnt wird, sind alle Alltagsdinge reichlich vorhanden (Geschirr, Spiele, Bücher, Werkzeug, etc.). Waschmaschine, Trockner und Spülmaschine funktionierten prima. In Ort gibt es Bäcker, Metzger, einen kleinen Supermarkt, weitere Läden, Cafés und Restaurants. Das Kanu (max. 4 Personen) und das Kajak (1 Person) sind im guten Zustand. Über die Garage am Grundstücksende kann man beides in 1 Minute zu Wasser lassen, weil es sehr nah eine Rampe zum Meer gibt. Ein Fahrrad ist in gutem Zustand, ein weiteres ist verwendbar (beide für Erwachsene); die Kinderfahrräder haben wir nicht ausprobiert. Insgesamt ist das Haus sehr gut für größere Familien geeignet - auch mit kleineren Kindern. Manche Dinge im Haus sind alt, selbst renoviert und nicht perfekt, aber wer ein Domizil mit Charakter (und keine Neubau-Anonymität) sucht, der wird hier sehr entspannte Tage genießen können.

Juste à côté de la maison il y a la petite mer de gavres pour pratiquer le kayak le canoë en toute sérénité avec les enfants. La pêche à pied aussi. La maison est grande c'est une maison familiale où on se sent très bien avec toute sa famille. La propriétaire est très à l'écoute. À recommander.

Une maison très accueillante !

Nous avons passé une semaine dans cette jolie maison. Nous étions 10, dont 4 jeunes de 9 à 17 ans. C'est une maison accueillante où tout est réuni pour un bon séjour. C'est un lieu calme très bien chauffé pour les périodes fraîches. Elle est équipée pour cuisiner, pour jouer, pour lire ...ce qui permet de bons moments au retour des balades. On peut y venir à plusieurs : spacieuse, on y cohabite très facilement. N'hésitez pas à feuilleter les guides à disposition : les alentours offrent de belles perspectives. Les deux musées de la Citadelle sont supers. Nous recommandons celui sur la Compagnie des Indes ... En bref, une belle maison de vacances à recommander !!!!!

Une maison très accueillante ; nous avons passé un moment très sympa et très reposant. Nos 4 ados ont adoré et chacun y a trouvé son espace, On s'y sent comme chez soi. Nous avons suivi les très bons conseils de Sophie : une petite soirée au restaurant le Bistroy, une fin d'après midi au café librairie la Dame Blanche mais aussi la visite du musée de la Compagnie des Indes à la Citadelle, un petit tour à Lorient en bateau et quelques belles ballades sur la plage...

Das war wirklich ein super Urlaub. Das Haus hat viel Charme, liegt direkt am Wasser und wir hatten sensationelles Wetter. Die Innenstadt von Port Louis erreicht man in 5 Minuten zu Fuß, mit den Fahrrädern, die zum Haus gehören in 1 Minute. Die Kanus wurden jeden Tag von den Kindern genutzt. Die Küche ist toll, nichts fehlt. Die Terrasse ist ruhig und nett. Die Lage des Hauses eignet sich sehr gut für viele Ausflüge, wie Carnac, Lorient ,Vanne, Aurais. ABER: das vierte Schlafzimmer auf dem Dachboden ist nur ein mit weißem Tuch vom Sperrmüll abgetrennter Bereich, da tröstet auch nicht die sensationelle Aussicht. In nur einem Schlafzimmer befindet sich ein leerer Schrank, d.h. man lebt zwei Wochen aus dem Koffer. Das Badezimmer ist modern, aber an der Decke schwarzer Schimmel. Überhaupt wirkt das Haus so, als sei es noch nicht fertig, im Bad stapeln sich Fliesen, im Garten Holzplatten, in einer Ecke ein Haufen Schutt.... Im Wohnzimmer befinden sich nur 5 Sitzgelegenheiten, bei schlechtem Wetter unmöglich. Die Bettdecken sind 2m x 2m groß, d.h. große Bezüge mitnehmen. TROTZDEM: es war ein super Urlaub ohne Fernsehen! Liebe Vermieterin! Investieren sie doch ein bisschen Geld in 2 Sofas, 3 Kleiderschränke und bestellen sie einen Container für den Schutt, dann haben sie das absolute Traumhaus, welches wir sehr gerne wieder mieten würden.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à 8 (2 couples, 4 enfants) dans cette maison très spacieuse, très bien équipée pour les familles. La maison est idéalement située sur le port de Locmalo, à moins de 10 mn en vélo (et guère plus à pied) des commerces et des bateaux-taxi pour Lorient, ce qui nous a permis de passer plusieurs soirées au festival Interceltique. Sur place un très sympa marché de nuit, une bonne crëperie le Jean Bart.. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la possibilité de pêcher à pied à 2 mn de la maison ( 2 excellents repas de coques !) et d'utiliser le canoë et le kayak mis à disposition (plebiscités par les 4 enfants) ainsi que les vélos : vraiment très pratique car nous n'avons pas eu à en amener. Nous avions amené notre propre dériveur qu'il a été très simple de mettre à l'eau chaque jour sur la petite mer de Gâvres (une mer fermée très sécurisante pour naviguer avec des enfants et quand même se faire plaisir ).Bref une excellente adresse que nous recommandons pour y passer des vacances sportives ou tranquilles au choix.

Arrivant d'un vol trans-atlantique nous avons trouver tout pour notre confort. Cette tres jolie maison est tres bien situe permettant a mon fils de faire de la peche a pied et ma soeur et moi, de belles promenades le long de la mer. Le calme et la beaute de la cour interieure nous a enchante! Nous aimerions beaucoup y revenir! Merci Sophie

La maison est très bien équipée, il ne manque rien. Idéale pour une ou plusieurs familles avec des enfants ( beaucoup de jeux sont à disposition) et la cour est clôturée. Endroit calme. Juste une remarque, penser à prendre des draps adaptés car les matelas sont très grands ( 2 *90). Merci pour cet agréable WE
