About this house rental
Whether you’re seeking outdoor activities, a quiet escape, or a home base to explore the area, our suite provides the ideal setting for your Nova Scotia stay.
The space
Welcome to your cozy retreat—perfect for travelers with or without furry companions!
You’ll enjoy a private entrance at the back of the house, with plenty of free street parking and shared laundry facilities conveniently located just outside your apartment door.
To ensure year-round comfort, we’ve added a ductless heat pump, keeping things cool and dry in the summer, and toasty in the winter. For extra-chilly days, there’s also hot water baseboard heating, so you’ll always feel at home, no matter the season.
Traveling with a pet? We’ve created a dedicated in-unit pet zone, complete with a large dog bed and food/water dishes. The space is roomy enough to fit a large crate, should you bring one along.
The bedroom is bright and welcoming in the morning, featuring a comfy Queen-sized Memory Foam bed for a restful night. In the living room, you’ll find a cozy futon that folds down to a Super Single (44” x 72.5”)—ideal for a child or an adult under 6’.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for a short visit or an extended stay, and the modern four-piece bathroom features a shower and deep soaker tub for relaxing after a long day.
Step outside into the shared backyard, where you’ll find your own bistro set (seasonal) that gets wonderful morning and early afternoon sun. The yard is spacious enough for dogs to run, though it’s not fenced—if your pup is leash-trained, there are plenty of spots to secure a lead. We just kindly ask you to clean up after them.
We live upstairs with our toddler (you may hear the occasional pitter-patter of little feet) and our friendly Golden Retriever, who would love to say hello to you and your pups—only if you’d like, of course!
Guest access
The laundry area and backyard are shared with us.
Other things to note
Cell phone reception can be spotty inside the house, so turn on wifi calling.
