The sofa bed was very comfortable! And it was nice to have a full kitchen to use

The communication with the ACTUAL owners and not pre-generated messages was abysmal. I ended up getting very frustrated after asking for the physical address of the property for days before arrival, again the day of, and then again after I got off the plane and was to drive to this house. The instructions to get in were fine but i had to use the image of the booking.com map to assume I was walking up the correct driveway. To me, this was an unprofessional and stressful start to our NS trip. (Photo is of the property for the next person that gets stressed about this). Also the smell of the cleaning agents that were used were suffocating when we arrived. We ended up having to open the windows and leave the house for a few hours to air it out.

The neighbourhood felt safe and quiet. The back yard is fenced in and well lit at night. Convenient keyless entry and very close to the Halifax Shopping centre, Bayer’s Lake and much much more. The hosts are caring, friendly and welcoming. They made sure my family had everything we needed. The place is spotless, open, full of lighting and inviting. It seriously felt like home away from home. They have everything for you including Netflix. LOL! I honestly will go out of my way to rebook this place in the future. We were always hotel people and we took a chance and we fell in love.

Although everything was perfect, parking on the road was inconvenient for us with a 22 month old. Parking in the driveway would have made our life easier, but it shouldn’t be a make or break though! The property is beautiful!
