The Perch was a very comfortable and pleasant place for us to stay while visiting family in the Gainesville area. The neighborhood is quiet and shady, close enough to quickly access the center of town but removed from the noise and bustle if that's not what you're after.The space was perfect for two people: plenty of room to store our belongings and not feel crowded or cramped. There was a small hiccup with the air conditioning the day we arrived (not the host's fault at all!), but Jennifer was extremely communicative and went above and beyond to make sure we would be comfortable. Everything was resolved very quickly and I really appreciated her conscientiousness!

A wonderful place to stay. Quiet, clean, updated, and all the needs of home plus more have been thought of. Jennifer was a great host and responds very quickly when needed. I am already looking forward to staying again on my next visit.

Our first experience with VRBO. The hostess had made every effort to provide all the necessities for a relaxing stay. The decor was simple yet very comfortable. Help info was posted for the entire systems, what was expected by the guests. Our host was more than accommodating and a very warm friendly person. We would recommend a stay at The Perch to anyone!!! The Sutliffs

Absolutely beautiful apartment with everything we needed for our stay. Beautiful, large bed in master and very comfortable. Stunning area, with Old Florida forest directly behind home. Impeccably clean. Bathroom had everything we needed, as did kitchenette. Super-quiet area and close to U of Florida campus and downtown.
