About this farm stay rental
Come and enjoy our beautiful, in 2025 fully renovated house, just 300 km from Utrecht and 2,5 hour drive from Duinkerke. A beautiful, special house where there is lots to see but also to enjoy a relaxing atmosphere. Enjoy the 3500 m2 garden with a beautiful view, part of which is fenced off for the dogs (see photos). Beautiful starry skies, we do not have light pollution here!
The house is also suitable for people who are less mobile, it has 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms (with rain shower) on the ground floor with a spacious entrance. There are also no thresholds in the house. The third bedroom is on the mezzanine that can be reached via a narrow staircase.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the luxuries such as an induction hob, oven, microwave and dishwasher.
The main heating is a cozy wood stove that can be seen from both the living room and the hallway. Wood for this can be used unlimited. In addition, there are also electric heaters available.
The house is located on the edge of Erloy, a picturesque village with 100 inhabitants in the middle of an undiscovered, beautiful part of France. There are no facilities in the village itself. The house is surrounded by nature and trees and you can walk straight into the forest.
The river Oise runs below the village, you can rent canoes, relax or let the dog swim. There are many walking and cycling opportunities, maps are available in the house.
But you are also in the right place to soak up some culture. Beautiful cities such as Saint Quentin (Art Deco), Laon (old fortified town) and the capital of champagne Reims are nearby.
In Guise you can visit the Familistaire and enjoy the old, rustic village.
Le Quesnoy is a beautiful fortified town with a lake where you can pedalo and enjoy a drink on the terrace. For lots of fun there is Val Joly, a beautiful 45-minute drive there takes you to a lake where there is plenty to do and various restaurants and bars. But even Paris would be doable for a day trip.
At Christmas and Newyears eve the house is only available for a minimum of 1 week.
