About this house rental

Rural cottage in idyllic setting Quiet in the Avesnois natural park, village near Sains-du-nord and 10 minutes from Val Joly. Individual house of 140 m2, offering you a kitchen with wood fire, bathroom, dining room, lounge with insert, bedroom on the ground floor, shower room, boiler room, WC. Upstairs large landing serving 3 bedrooms. On more than 59 ares of wooded land with private driveway, garage, workshop, large south-facing terrace, fish tank, etc.
A heated and private outdoor pool for this summer (7 meters by 3 meters).
We are also the owner of Le Clos du Fourmanoir.

Loved the house and the heated pool. Great location close enough to the town and amenities. Lots to do in the area and overall a great holiday. Thierry was easy to deal with.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus auf dem Land
Wir haben den Aufenthalt im Haus von Thierry und Cecile sehr genossen. Bereits bei der Ankunft an einem kalter Wintertag war einer der beiden Kaminöfen bereits an und verströmte neben einem angenehmen Holzgeruch auch eine wohlige Wärme. Diese ist an kalten Wintertagen auch sehr nötig. Da das Haus scheinbar eine gemeinsame Bodenplatte mit der umliegenden Terrasse hat ist der Boden recht kalt (Hausschuhe einpacken). Doch die beiden Kaminöfen und die reichlich zur Verfügung gestellten Elektroöfen konnten die Gasheizung effektiv unterstützen. Holz wurde freundlicherweise ausreichend bereit gestellt. Das Haus ist etwas verwinkelt mit angemessen großen Schlafzimmern und einem riesigen Bereich für die Kinder im Obergeschoß. Dies lässt einen schonmal zusammenzucken, wenn die Kinder im sehr hell-hörige Haus herumtoben. Doch die Decke hat gehalten 😊. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, so fehlte es lediglich an einem zweiten Mülleimer für eine effektive Mülltrennung. Wir nutzten auch die Tischtennisplatte mit vorhandenen Schlägern und Bällen wegen des Wetters in der Garage was, eine tolle Abwechslung war. Das Haus ist recht abgelegen auf einem tollen und großen Grundstück In der Umgebung gibt es paar schöne Orte, die man besuchen kann, z.B. Hirson oder Val Joly. Jedoch gibt es keine Radwege oder ähnliches, sodass man sicher (gerade mit Kindern) nur mit dem Auto zum Ziel kommt. Auch mich als passionierter Läufer hat dies etwas enttäuscht. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es mehr als ausreichend in maximal 10min Entfernung. Insgesamt haben wir unseren Kurzurlaub genossen. Für das nächste Mal erwägen wir einen Besuch im Sommer, um die vielen Freizeitmöglichkeit noch besser nutzen zu können.

Très beau cadre, avec un grand jardin. Maison agréable, grandes chambres et bien équipées. Table de ping-pong avec raquettes à disposition, barbecue avec charbon de bois à disposition, chaises longues etc Séjour agréable malgré le temps, on a apprécié la cheminée avec le bois mis à disposition également. Petit bémol sur le nombre de lits, il y a 7 lits d’une personne et 1 lit à barreaux pour bébé. Donc 7 couchages adultes. Maison à proximité des commerces et du site du Val Joly. Très bon séjour.
