Modern Apt just Steps to Metro & Lake with Pool andParking

The apartment is really nice, modern and stylish. Has a nice pool on the rooftop in 34 floor - if the card provided works and you can actually get there. The JLT location is great - really close to the metro station. Unfortunately the lake is now under reconstruction but we didn't really mind that. The apartment has 2 toilets which was great as we were a group of 4. There were almost no bugs during our stay which I find really positive in Dubai.

The major problems comes from the host and his attitude towards hosting and communication with the guest. We haven't recieved any info about check-in ahead (we actually haven't recieved any message from the host before our stay) so when we arrived I had to contact him to ask for the self check-in instructions and then wait for the reply. Second problem is with the access card which doesn't work - so I wrote that to the host and he promised he will send somebody to replace it but that has never happened and the host ignored us for the rest of our stay so we were without the access card for the whole stay and had to always wave or knock on a security guy to let us in. The room wasn't perfectly clean, we found some paper wrappers but almost no insect which is great. The apartment isn't really equipped for cooking, there was for example no frying pan or dipper. Also the sofa-bed could use a mattress or some of those bed softener so there are no holes in it - the back kinda hurt us every morning.
