George is a very friendly and helpful owner of the property. He lives above the property so is available if help is needed . He gave us great recommendations of restaurants in the local area.
The apartment is very beautiful - brand new - everything there for comfort, cooking (if wanted), nice beds, linens, etc. The view - when sitting down - or from our beds - was beautiful.
The location of the apartment - whilst being close to Rethymno - is not ideal. The apartment sits right on a road which is fairly busy with walkers, scooters and cars, and is located in a built up and working neighborhood. It was quiet at night but we did not feel we could sleep with our glass doors open to the air.
If you're looking for good location to roads (for getting around Crete) it's great. But be prepared to stay in a busy neighborhood - not a holiday destination.
