Stoney Lake Cottage with Private Dock by Leavetown Vacations

- perfect for our group of 6, everyone had their own rooms, comfy beds (also a 4th bed with the Murphy bed but it’s in the lower living room area so isn’t private - we didn’t use it but so others understand the layout) - views from both inside & outside were gorgeous - open concept upper level was great for meals together and hanging out after dark, still enough space to spread out around the property too - dock was amazing and could easily seat our group of 6. Full Sun but a nice grassy/shaded spot beside the cottage - kitchen was well stocked for making full meals, dishwasher was a nice timesaver, dining table easily for our group of 6 & would be fine for 8 as well - on a nice little inlet so no boat traffic, although it would be weedy to swim. We enjoyed launching our kayaks from the steps down to the water. The area expands into many bays and inlets and then a larger open lake that you could spend days kayaking if you’re up for it.

- for folks who may be sensitive to sound, the cottage is on a road that can get loud during parts of the day. It wasn’t a deal breaker for us and the pros outweigh this aspect for us. At night and even during the week it was much calmer and the inside of the cottage does block the sound well - I know it’s weird to ‘complain’ about too strong of water pressure but the upstairs shower was a bit intense for us (and I’m sure would save a lot of water to be adjusted!)
