About this chalet rental
This light filled lake house is on the point of a 15 acre private peninsula (with one neighboring cottage 150ft away, same owner) and is renovated in 2020.
Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Stoney Lake during your entire stay. Enjoy over 3000ft of private waterfront and panoramic views of the lake right from the living room with over 1500ft of cozy indoor space.
The peninsula is situated on the midpoint between Upper and Lower Stoney, a prime location for fishing and exploring.
The space: Three bedrooms with ceiling fan and en-suite bathrooms. Huge public space, WiFi, air conditioning, NEW internet TV, fully equipped kitchen, and 6 persons Jacuzzi, outdoor Bluetooth speaker. Full laundry. Small sandy beach area for the kids.
All the furniture in the cottage has been refurbished in 2020, and the space is stocked with the necessary items for you to have a comfortable and relaxing stay.
The cottage is surrounded by water on three sides; enjoy an unbeatable panoramic view of the lake.
CHECK-IN: Please arrive no earlier than 3pm on the check in date and check out BY 11am on the date you leave.
PARKING: There are TWO parking areas, please park in the cottage's designated large parking lot adjacent to the lake (to your left when you head towards the point of the peninsula as you come in from Hawkins Road.) The small parking area next to the other cottage is designated for that cottage only. Please do NOT park on the grass or the driveway.
GARBAGE: Please place garbage in CLEAR bags provided, black bags are not accepted in this area. The dump charges 3 dollars per bag. PLEASE bring garbage and recycling there or take them home. ANY garbage left behind will subject to a 50 dollars fine PER BAG.
WATER: The water comes from an underground well with a treatment system installed; softened and purified. Water from the direct drinking tap on the sink is potable.
BATHROOM: Septic system in place, please do not flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilet.
FIREWOOD: You are welcome to pick up fallen branches for your fire pit. Firewood is stocked on a rack between the two cottages at 5 dollars a bundle; just leave cash in the letterbox attached.
TOWELS & LINENS: Fresh sets of bedding and towels are equipped. Please use the towels for cleaning your body ONLY; leave used ones in the washing machine.
WATER TOYS: Life jackets and water toys are in the storage box outside. The cottage has ONE single kayak, ONE two-person kayak, TWO kids kayaks, and ONE canoe. Please RETURN them to where you found them.
PETS: Pets are welcomed, but please don't let them get on beds and sofas, for hygienic reasons! If you're bringing more than 2 pets, please let us know!
Other FYI: Nearest groceries is Foodland in Lakefield. Boats can be launched from Little's Marina, 5 mins drive. PLEASE DO NOT TRESPASS ONTO ISLANDS INHABITED BY OUR NEIGHBOURS, THEY ARE PRIVATE!
