Charming Lakeview Family Resort in Katchwanooka with Private BBQ and firepit

The location remains great, but the resort has declined since the new management company took over. We used to come here when the property was family-owned, and it was always immaculate and serene. The former owners retired this year, and the drastic changes are very obvious. I hope the new management will consider this feedback and revise their approach to running the resort.

The pricing for this property is unreasonably high for what is provided. The grounds are occupied by dozens of geese, and because their droppings are never cleaned, you must watch every single step. Additionally, the swimming area is unclean and unpleasant. Please note that paddleboats and canoes are no longer complimentary; they are rented by the hour at a high rate for basic, dated equipment. Finally, because individual cabins are now being rented on Airbnb, there is a constant influx of people coming and going every day.
