Gouda city center apartment with private garden and 2 bicycles

We liked the location. It was located in the perfect spot to get around. We also liked the space as it definitely catered well for a family of five. Baby facilities were excellent (the crib and high chair) for our youngest 3 year old child. The main bed was very comfortable and the two sofa beds were also ample and suited our needs very well. The shower was in a surprising place but we saw it as convenient since it allowed for quick showers. The sitting areas in the garden were also a nice place to sit and relax with a drink or two. Kitchen was ample and catered well for us, plenty of room to prepare meals for the family.

Although we thought the property was clean to a certain extent, we noticed that there were spider webs on top of the garden table, and some parts of the ceiling indoors. It didn’t affect our stay but it’s something we noticed. The location of the main bathroom was a small issue as one of the family members suffers with digestive problems, so it became quite cumbersome to keep walking out of the apartment part into the hallway which houses the main bathroom. There was also an ever so small water leak coming from upstairs between the two sofa beds near the wall. Every now and then my children felt small water droplets hitting their bodies/heads. I am not sure if the landlord knows about this but I am sure they can sort it out.

The apartment is perfectly located, just a two-minute walk from the heart of Gouda, a charming city that we like to call "Mini Amsterdam." You really couldn't ask for a better location. The apartment features a beautifully renovated bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy city garden. We were fortunate to have wonderful weather during our stay, and I especially enjoyed relaxing on the outdoor sofa while my fellow travelers went off to explore the city. For a couple, this apartment is absolutely perfect. It is cozy, comfortable, and in an unbeatable location for discovering Gouda. For four people, it can still work well, especially if you know each other well and don't mind having a little less privacy. Overall, it is a lovely city apartment and an excellent place to stay.

We stayed here with six people. Although the apartment is cozy and the bedroom with its en-suite bathroom has been beautifully renovated, I do feel it is a bit too small for six guests. There is only one bedroom, with the other four guests sleeping on two sofa beds in the living room. As a result, the apartment feels crowded quite quickly and there is very little privacy. Fortunately, we had wonderful weather, which allowed us to spend a lot of time outside on the terrace. We were also out exploring the Netherlands for most of the day, so we didn't spend much time in the apartment. Even so, I believe the accommodation is much better suited for two to four people. For six guests, it feels a little too cramped. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and for couples, I think this apartment would be an excellent choice.

Eneste minus er at toilettet er på gangen. Når det er sagt er det et fint lille toilet kun brugt af os!
