I loved how local it was. We were in the neighborhood and could walk to many places. I loved the detail in the streets, the manhole covers especially were my favorite.
The stairs were very steep, the towels were very thin and I kept bumping my head on the door frame, although that was not the fault of the host.

10 minute walk from Takenotsuka station. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, including a great Italian directly below. Great shower. Comfy beds.Good WiFi.
This is not a 2 bedroom apartment! It is a 1 bedroom apartment with two double beds. All the doorways are very low, me and my son smashed our heads on them at least once a day. It is accessed via 3 sets of very steep stairs. There is no usable mirror in the apartment. There is a washing machine but nothing to hang clothes on to dry them. There were no mugs provided for tea or coffee, or dining knives. There was no guidance about recycling.
