Comfort Corner Homestay

We stayed here at the start of our journey and chose to return after our 1 month trek, it's the best proof of how comfortable we felt. Our hosts are a Nepalese couple who receive their guests with genuine care rather than commercial politeness. The lady of the house is particularly kind and open-minded, we discussed a lot with her in the kitchen. As a Franco-Indian couple ourselves, we were pleasantly surprised that they speak good Hindi and also can manage English too. Meals are traditional and well prepared; we shared dinner, snacks and breakfast with them on several occasions, which were all very nice. We were able to wash our clothes after the trek. The rooftop offers a lovely view at sunset. Nothing showy here: good food, gentleness, and that Nepali sense of hospitality one hopes to find. Beginning and ending our journey in this house was a pleasure.

Это была моя первая ночь в Катманду перед большим путешествием. И я была впервые в Непале. Спасибо большое Prabha и ее супругу за высокий прием и оказанную помощь. Они мне помогли с организационными делами перед треком, накормили традиционным непальским ужином, а также мне пришлось выезжать в три часа утра на трек, и они ждали водителя вместе со мной. Это удивительные и прекрасные люди, которые показали какое может быть непальской гостеприимство. Спасибо!

굉장히 깨끗하고, 욕조, 테라스, 넓은 방 모든게 만족함. 기장 좋았던건 너무나 친절했던 호스트. 더 필요한게 있는지 세심하게 살피고 물어봐주고 어떻게든 손님을 챙겨주려는 모습이 기억에 남음. 숙소도 최고고, 사람도 최고임.

I was so comfortable and treated so well at this property. I felt so happy here. The host made delicious food for us after we got in late from the airplane. They also prepared and packed another delicious meal for breakfast even when we had to leave very very early to catch the bus. The tea they served me was the best I’ve had in all of Nepal so far! Lovely people and comfortable home.
