DRAKON NEST HOMESTAY

My flight to Kathmandu was significantly delayed, but despite my late arrival, the host stayed in touch with me and gave me a very warm welcome. From the very beginning, I felt cared for, which gave me a sense of safety in a country that was completely new to me. Every morning, I was served delicious coffee, and I enjoyed practicing yoga on the rooftop. Even though the guesthouse is located in a lively neighborhood, my room was surprisingly quiet. I slept really well there and woke up feeling well-rested. The shared spaces were always clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable, the bed linen was soft and pleasant, and I really appreciated the unique interior design. The location, just a short walk from Boudha Stupa, was another big advantage.

I stayed in a ground-floor room, and the floor was quite cold. Because the neighboring building is very close to the window, the room received very little natural light, which made it feel a bit dark. I think this place would be even more enjoyable in the summer, as I stayed here in May. During the day, the room was actually colder than it was outside. I also occasionally noticed cockroaches in the kitchen.

The location is pretty decent.

I was traveling and had to work remotely. I specifically booked this property hoping that the internet connection would be better and safer than a hotel. However, i have had really hard time with the wifi connection. Also, the mobile service single inside the room was bad.
