Sitia Heights Apartment - Central Sea View

super gastgeberin...sehr hilfsvoll, sie hat uns sogar vom hafen abgeholt. die unterkunft hat alles was man braucht. kaffeemaschine, küche, 2 terrassen mit liegen und sogar etwas spielzeug für kinder. schöne grosse abschliessbare dusche, was leider in griechenland nicht selbstverständlich ist. eine von wenigen unterkünfte, wo ich mich wohlgefühlt habe was sauberkeit angeht.

This spacious, beautifully decorated apartment felt like a true home from the moment I arrived, complete with vibrant living plants that added warmth, character, and a thoughtful personal touch. The kitchen was exceptional. As someone who cooks often, I was impressed by its outstanding range of utensils, tools, and equipment—everything I could possibly have needed was right at hand. In more than three months of traveling around Greece, it was by far the best-equipped kitchen I encountered. Although the apartment has three bedrooms, I rented it alone and loved having so much space to enjoy. The two terraces were another highlight: both were comfortably furnished and ideal for morning coffee, leisurely meals, or unwinding in the evening, and one offered a beautiful glimpse of the sea. What made the stay truly unforgettable, however, was the exceptional host. She was extraordinarily kind, warm, and welcoming, making me feel less like a guest and more like a friend. Her generosity went beyond the stay itself: when I mentioned that I might want to live in Crete, she offered to help me find a property to buy or rent long-term if I returned. That level of genuine care is rare and made the experience especially meaningful. I would wholeheartedly recommend this apartment to anyone seeking a spacious, stylish, and exceptionally well-equipped home in Sitia. With its inviting interiors, wonderful terraces, and remarkable host, it is a place I would be delighted to return to.
