Kassandra Garden Residence

My husband and I spent a month exploring the beautiful island of Crete in September, staying in different accommodations along the way. When we arrived at Kassandra Garden Residence, we planned to stay for just a few days — but ended up staying 10 wonderful days! The village of Kalo Chorio is perfectly located, close to many of Crete’s main attractions, and this place turned out to be one of our absolute favorites. Our host, Veronika, is an artist, and you can feel her creative touch everywhere — from the cozy interior design to the lush garden filled with herbs and fragrant lavender. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and truly feels like home. The location couldn’t be better: just a short walk to several beaches, including Voulisma Beach, famous for its golden sand and crystal-clear waters — the best snorkeling we had in Crete! There are also several great restaurants nearby, but the apartment’s well-equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare our own meals whenever we wanted. Each apartment has a spacious balcony with a sea view, perfect for relaxing in the evening. There’s also a large swimming pool with panoramic views, a barbecue area, and plenty of space to unwind. We especially appreciated the convenience of on-site parking and access to a washing machine for a small fee. One of the things we loved most was the laid-back atmosphere — there’s no daily housekeeping, so you really feel like it’s your own home. Veronika is a wonderful host — kind, attentive, and always ready to help. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure her guests are comfortable and happy. If you’re looking for a peaceful, authentic, and non-inclusive place to stay — something that lets you experience the real Crete — Kassandra Garden Residence is the perfect choice. We travel often, and this was one of the most delightful stays we’ve ever had. Highly recommended!

Uns als Tee- und Weintrinker hat ein Wasserkocher und ein Korkenzieher gefehlt. Der Duschstrahl war etwas schwach. Aber das ist Jammern auf hohen Niveau. Wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Veronika est super serviable c est là philoxenia par excellence

Very cozy apartment with a great view. For 3 people the perfect size. The host Veronika is super nice and responds very fast (had a broken lightbulb and she came 5min after texting her). The kitchen has everything you need to cook and there are also great places to go for dinner nearby. After going for a swim in the pool, it was nice to have breakfast on the balcony looking at the sea. Two nice beaches are ~10min by foot away. There are enough parking spots. Overall, it was a great choice.
