It was large enough to accommodate our family at short notice. Outdoor space is lovely and the house has a lovely feel about it. Plenty of sleeping space and the living room is lovely.
Downstairs bedroom freezing and radiator didn’t seem to heat up, not enough cutlery or plates for 12 people. Stools provided for dining table instead of chairs. Dining table not big enough to seat 12 people (bearing in mind the property is advertised to sleep 12). Cross trainer in the dining room area is a hazard and takes up much needed space. Not enough glasses across the board. Not allowed any food or drink in the living room which is the biggest social space in the property. Not enough toilet rolls left and no hand towels in the bathrooms. One oven doesn’t heat up to temperature so cooking for 12 was a challenge. One en-suite shower wasn’t working at all. Felt like we were using someone’s house for the weekend with all their stuff still around.
