It was very spacious.

Everything was quite tired. It definitely is not luxurious, it’s quite like a student house really. Lots of things were broken/faulty eg floor tiles, equipment, pool table, oven interior racking rails. One bed was a four poster but actually a two poster as one post was already broken and was in the utility room downstairs. Another fell off during our stay. All of the other beds were cheap day beds or futons or similar and were incredibly uncomfortable. The house was always cold. On our first day only 2 of us could shower comfortably as the hot water had been restricted and so the showers came through tepid. There was only one wine glass. So many lightbulbs were out, I would guesstimate over 50%. One of the pillows had black mould on it. A lot of the kitchenware was dirty. A neighbour had parked on the drive in an awkward spot so where we should have easily been able to park 3 cars, we had to park one elsewhere. The towels were threadbare and the bedding cheap and nasty. If the listing was more accurate it would have scored more but calling it “luxury” is incredibly misleading.

The house was spacious, clean, and the hosts communicated everything clearly. It was the perfect place for our large group.

Some of the beds weren't the most comfortable, but they were very clean and it didn't really bother us.

Beautiful house, well decorated and airy. Well stocked, clean & perfect for large groups. Everyone had a great time, it's perfectly designed for larger gatherings and no one had a bad word to say about it! Host communication was great and really timely, and they were very accommodating with an earlier check-in & answering questions throughout the trip. Charging port outside for electric cars too was an added bonus!

The heating was a little temperamental at times - but nothing we couldn't work out! Had absolutely no bearing on what a great time we had here.

The house was exquisite. It was so sympathetically decorated to really appreciate the original features but was classy, sophisticated, and homely. The hosts had renovated this to a very high standard and nailed it! The house is huge. You will not be disappointed because it is luxurious on a large scale. Every room is as well equipped and stunning as the next. We only booked last minute, and the hosts pulled out all the stops to get the house ready for us in a matter of hours and surpassed themselves. They were responsive, attentive, and an absolute pleasure to deal with. The beds were incredibly comfy, and the showers in all the bathrooms were brilliant. There was good parking out the front of the property, and even though the road is busy, the house is set well back and you are not aware of traffic noise in the house. We can't forget to mention how warm this house is. Again, the hosts have not scrimped on kitting this whole house out with top of the range radiators and heating systems, and it was exceptionally effective. We tend to go away a lot as family and stayed in many places and this is without a doubt, hands down, the best accommodation we have booked. In our experience, people market their property as luxury and you are set up for disappointment but this was just the epitome of luxury and we felt, was worth every penny. We had also left one of our toddlers' shoes at the property and the hosts kindly contacted us promptly to let us know and even offered to get it to us before we headed back to Southampton. You don't get better service than this and we will be sure to book this property again when we next visit our family in Walsall.

We didn't like leaving. After staying here, our only regret was not booking in for longer!
