Ski Villa with carpark 29 - As Central as It Gets!

Location for our stay and needs. Bed configuration for our family. Modern feel.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but there are a few things that could make the villa more comfortable, particularly for winter guests. Although advertised as a "Ski Villa", there was no secure storage for skis, and the instructions for locating the drying room were unclear. During our very cold winter long weekend stay, there was only one spare blanket for three beds. The duvets provided did not offer any great warmth - electric blankets would have made a big difference. A rug in the lounge would help make the downstairs living area feel warmer and more inviting. An additional mirror outside the bathroom would be useful. The lounge seating wasn't particularly comfortable, or spacious enough for four people to relax together. Access to the villa was inconvenient when loading and unloading luggage, as we had to lift everything over a fence and the allocated car park wasn't directly aligned with the villa

The central location is fantastic if you need easy access to grocery stores and general shopping district. It’s also close enough to Queenstown and right in between the Remarkables and Coronet Peak. This house came with a dedicated parking bay which was a must have in the area.

The houses are small, which we knew going in, but they do present practical challenges as a result, minimal storage meant we used the dining room table and spare floor space to hang large jackets; store suitcases etc. there’s barely any space to navigate in and around beds and we also struggled to fit more than one person in the only bathroom at the same time. Nothing that can’t be overcome but given the price, I would prefer to be further out of town with more space.

Dust++ on top of the wardrobe; the locked keycode took a while to open even when already unlocked; can’t call the property, have to message only and wait for response
