No power for the second night

We had a wonderful stay over the Christmas holiday! The location is perfect, offering a stunning blend of both mountain and city views. A huge thank you to the host for being so responsive and considerate, and to the caretaker who was incredibly nice and helpful throughout our stay. The highlight for us was that they are pet-friendly—being able to bring my dog made our holiday celebration extra special. Highly recommended!

The accommodation was a pleasant surprise with a large deck area and awesome views of the city and the sea beyond. We loved sitting outside, taking in the view and relaxing on the comfy couches. It’s up on a mountain, and we hired a driver to take us around to some of the sites nearby. There are gardens and the big draw is Tops, a popular destination at the top of the mountain. Myrna was wonderful and cooked us great breakfasts. There are two restaurants adjacent to the property.

The biggest downside was that it is right on the road up to Tops, a popular destination, and quite noisy with motorbikes and buses going up and down late into the night. We stayed over Christmas, which was even a busier time. There are lots of ants on the deck, but generally no insects in the bedroom area.
